Complain and Remain

I have a confession. I'm a complainer! I hate to admit it, but I have come to realize that I complain far too much and far to often. Last Easter our church bought braclets we put on to help remind us of our tendency to complain and to apply the power of grace to deliver us. What a revelation - how many times a day I found myself 'moving my braclet' from right hand (complaint free zone) to the left ... the dreaded 'mark' of a complainer.

In Numbers 14 we see God's people complaining about how difficult moving into the promised land appeared to be, and because of their complaining, God let them remain in the dry and barren land.

So - my point - (I mean God's point) - complain and remain in the current circumstances or praise and move on into a better place. Simple truth. Powerful truth. Life changing truth.

Awesome reminder and good lesson on complaining. Surely don't want to wander around for 40 years, getting no where Thanks
